Bugh Equine Center Offers 'Divine Miss N' For Sale or Lease:

Divine Miss N, 2001 Bay reg. TB Mare, 16hh

Divine Miss N's Pedigree

Divine Miss N ("Pea") is a 16hh 2001 Jockey Club registered bay mare.  She is by Well Decorated out of a Full Pocket mare.  A stand out sporthorse prospect who is well on her way to making an exceptional dressage, hunter/jumper, or event horse.  Well put together with a lovely front end and terrific gaits.

Solid W/T/C and has been jumping 2'.  Started some lateral work at the end of the summer.  Incredibly bold and careful over fences--has never even ticked a rail.  Schooling 2' cross country jumps. I have no doubt that she could go 3'-3'6" without any trouble, perhaps more.  Attended a Hunt Pace last May & was very willing.  (Placed 6th.)  Also trail ridden frequently.  Currently ridden in a Dr. Bristol Full Cheek Snaffle, but she has brakes in a regular D-ring, too.  Does best with a lot of turnout time, but does fine stalled when worked regularly. An amazingly fast learner, very talented and athletic.

Pea was raced until Dec. 2005 & I adopted her in June of 2006.  She came off the track with a slight suspensory injury & some thickening around her fetlocks.  However, she's been 100% sound (besides an abscess) since then.  After coming off the track, Pea received entensive ground work and her manners are excellent.  She is sensitive and tuned-in, but without trust issues.  Loads & hauls well, clips, bathes, goes barefoot, great with other horses, good for vet & farrier.  Does not stand tied.  UTD on vaccines, trimming, de-worming, and Coggins.  This mare has way more potential as a horse than I have as a rider, which is why I am willing to let her go.  I may consider a breeding home, but would prefer to find her a riding home where she can meet her potential.

Pea's pedigree includes such Thoroughbred sporthorse greats as:

*Raja Baba (Sire of USEF's 2004 #19 leading hunter sire, "Knick Press") by Bold Ruler.

*My Babu, an influential sire of eventing stars via his sons (Bruce Davidson's World Champion "JJ Babu" is by Babu Dancer).

*Tudor Minstrel, by Owen Tudor (by Hyperion).

*Umidwar, sire of Ultimate.

*Mahmoud (by Blenheim II).

*Relic, by War Relic.

*Heliopolis.

*Polynesian.

*Khaled.

$5,500 firm.  Price will increase with further training.

More photos available upon request.

I would consider a free lease situation for Pea--please inquire if interested.

Bugh Equine Center Offers 'Royal Beau' for Lease or Free to Good Home:

2001 Chestnut Thoroughbred Gelding, 15.3hh

Royal Beau's Pedigree

Beau is a 2001 OTTB gelding.  Flashy red chestnut, Quarter Horse build.  Beau is an excellent and very safe trail horse and he is happy leading or following (prefers to follow through water though).  He's currently a "husband horse" and is very good at this job.  He's one of those that can be left out to pasture for weeks and then ridden without any problems.  Beau attended a Hunt Pace last May where he behaved very well and placed 6th.

Beau came off the track with fused bone chips in his knees, which caused significant arthritis.  However, with time and supplements (CortaFlex), Beau is sound as a light riding horse--W/T/C, but NO JUMPING.  He may require a maintenance dose of Bute when the ground is hard.

He's great with vet, farrier, hauling, etc.  Currently being fed beet pulp and alfalfa cubes along with his grain and alfalfa/timothy hay.  Does tend to get bonded to mares when he's turned out with them, but isn't unruly about it.  UTD on vaccines, trimming, de-worming, and Coggins.

Could possibly be free to good home if it's the right match.

Will only go to approved home only. References will be checked. Must be willing to maintain regular photo and e-mail contact for the duration of the lease.
